Overview
The I.DOT MINI from Dispendix is a liquid handling that has been streamlined.
The I.DOT technology
This weightless liquid handler makes use of a single positive pressure channel to produce droplets as small as 8 nL via an orifice in the well and could produce up to 100 droplets every second.

Automation, precision, and speed
The lightweight I.DOT MINI improves non-contact liquid handling duties to bring visceral automation, speed, and accuracy to every laboratory in a lower footprint.
Applications
Improved efficiency across applications
Compound dispensing
Small molecules can be dispensed in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) or aqueous solutions.
Assay development
Dispenses nucleic acids, small molecules, drugs, etc. in a multiplexed way and in direct dilution steps. Perfect for developing separate experiments.
Genomics and proteomics
Miniaturization, low-volume dispensing, and low dead volume can be leveraged to effectively dispense for PCR, NGS prep, extraction, and clean-ups.
Cell dispensing
Users can dispense reproducibly anything from cells in suspension to organoids while retaining high cell viability.
Features
Bring speed into users’ lab while maintaining flexibility
Dispenses into SBS target plates 96- and 384 well plates in as quick as 20 seconds.
- Smooth and easy-to-use software
- Multi-well and custom formats
- No programming or looping required
- Quick and visceral CSV setup can be done
Built-in software to streamline workflows
Automation-friendly software provides built-in convenience, improves protocol making, and lets users import comma-separated values (CSV) files for highly complicated protocols.
Large dynamic range
Dispenses 8 nL to 500 nL of a single source liquid at one time.
Low dead volume
The well reservoir design guarantees dead volume under 1 µL to save useful reagents and samples.
