With eight 500 ml bioreactors, the BioXplorer 400XL enables rapid optimization of crucial parameters for aerobic fermentations. Its parallel bioprocessing capabilities, along with the customizable configuration of the bioreactor lid, offer the flexibility to select which parameters to monitor in real time. When paired with WinISO, the BioXplorer 400XL can adapt to changes in the bioprocess, facilitating full automation of the fermentation process.

Overview
Enhanced Bioreactor System
The BioXplorer 400XL contains eight bioreactors, each designed for aerobic fermentation and with a working capacity ranging from 120 mL to 400 mL. These bioreactors can be outfitted with a wide range of probes and sensors, and the system supports a number of gas and liquid feed combinations. The capacity to accurately regulate and monitor up to eight bioprocesses at the same time substantially speeds up screening and optimization studies, resulting in more thorough process knowledge and faster scale-up.
Flexibility and Control
BioXplorer 400XL combines increased larger volumes with the replication and parallelization capabilities of having eight independent reactors controlled by WinISO.
This software simultaneously monitors the bioreactor's key parameters while allowing precise control over them, ensuring ideal conditions are consistently maintained. When combined with customizable options and a wide range of liquid and gas pumps, as well as agitation capabilities, it provides powerful tools for characterizing and optimizing bioprocesses.
