The Calypso Still is ideal for small laboratories that require pure water. It operates at 2 or 4 L/hr and is user-friendly and simple to use. Customers can discharge water immediately or store it in a reservoir. It is inexpensive, takes up little space, and can be mounted on a bench or a wall.
Guaranteed Purity
The Calypso uses a unique 'cyclonic' vapor trap to create the purest distilled water possible, free of all inorganic and organic contaminants, microorganisms, and pyrogens. The Calypso’s innovative vapor trap design creates a ‘cyclonic’ effect that removes all vapor-borne droplets, guaranteeing that no pollutants are carried over into the distilled water.
Furthermore, the Calypso is made completely of borosilicate glass, with sturdy silica-sheathed heating elements and high-quality silicone rubber components to ensure the purity of the distilled water.
Safe and Easy to Use
The Calypso is outfitted with many safety mechanisms to safeguard the operator and the equipment. In the event of a water failure, the high-temperature cut-off will operate to safeguard the heaters.
Furthermore, the glassware is fully encased for the operator’s protection. The Reservoir Level Sensor allows users to pick their collecting reservoir, and the Still will shut off automatically when it reaches capacity. The Still will resume after water is drawn.
Economy
A flow controller automatically adjusts cooling water use to ensure optimal efficiency. This enables the Still to work properly even under variable tap water pressures.
