Overview
The Normal Human Bronchial Epithelial Cells (NHBE) from MatTek are a perfect serum-free culture system for researching drug effects, gene regulation, tissue development, wound healing, inflammation, and toxic effects on the bronchial epithelium.
Available NHBE cells come from healthy donors as well as those who have a known history of smoking or illnesses like asthma and COPD.

Features
Cytokeratin 14 is expressed by normal human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) cells, which have a cobblestone morphology in monolayer culture. When handled in accordance with MatTek’s NHBE protocol, the cells are guaranteed to offer a minimum of 15 population doublings and ≥75% viability upon thawing.
