Overview
Lifeink® 220 from Advanced BioMatrix is a 70 mg/ml type I collagen bioink that has been developed for extrusion-based FRESH 3D bioprinting. Lifeink® 220 is available as a pH neutral, isotonic bioink, and is all set for bioprinting and cell addition.
For printing to be done with Lifeink® 220, Advanced BioMatrix highly suggests making use of the FRESH printing method and printing at 2 to 8 °C. Three-dimensional (3D) gels enable the study of the effects of the mechanical properties of the extracellular matrix (ECM), like rigidity and density, on migration, cell development, and morphology.
Diverse 2D systems, 3D environments enable cell extensions to concurrently communicate with integrins on all cell surfaces, leading to the triggering of particular signaling pathways. Also, gel rigidity or stiffness impacts cell migration otherwise in 3D versus 2D surroundings.
A bioink that matches life must consist of the following traits: High Print Resolution, strong mechanical strength, shear-thinning, excellent cytocompatibility, enable for cellular remodeling and biomimetic. Lifeink® 220 satisfies those needs.
Advanced BioMatrix provides Lifeink® 220, a bioink that is a 70 mg/ml type I collagen. Lifeink® 220 is pH-neutral collagen along with physiological salt concentration. The starting material is purified with the help of a composing manufacturing process.
