Overview

PhotoHA® from Advanced BioMatrix is 100 mg of lyophilized methacrylated hyaluronic acid (GM-HA).

PhotoHA® offers 3D hyaluronic acid hydrogels exhibiting the special attributes to be made at several concentrations and photocrosslinked to offer numerous gel stiffness. GM-HA develops softer hydrogels compared to HAMA.

Advanced BioMatrix brings in PhotoHA®-Soft, a methacrylated hyaluronic acid (GMHA) for photocrosslinkable hydrogels. PhotoHA-Soft gets developed into softer hydrogels compared to PhotoHA-Stiff. Such hydrogels tend to offer native-like 3D HA gels with the special attributes to be made at several concentrations and photocrosslinked to offer numerous gel stiffness.

Item Catalog Number Package Size Storage Temperature
Methacrylated Hyaluronic Acid #5388 100 mg -20 °C

Hyaluronic acid is considered to be the most abundant glycosaminoglycan present in the body being a significant component of various tissues across the body. While it is plentiful in extracellular matrices, hyaluronic acid also adds up to tissue hydrodynamics, movement, and proliferation of cells, and takes part in various cell surface receptor interactions.

As far as most of the cell types are concerned, it is suggested to add extra ECM proteins to the hyaluronic acid hydrogels. The proteins offer significant cell binding sites.

Upon solubilization, the PhotoHA® could be stored at 2 to 10 °C for almost one month.
