Overview
RatCol® for 3D gels is 25 mL of 4 mg/ml, type I rat tail telocollagen solution available for 3D hydrogels or 2D coatings.
This kit for 3D gels is available with a neutralization solution for simple handling. Being telocollagen, RatCol® available for 3D gels will develop harder hydrogels compared to atelocollagen.
RatCol® Type I Acid Soluble Rat Tail Collagen consists of 100 mg at a concentration of nearly 4 mg/mL in a 0.02M acetic acid solution (~pH 3). RatCol® collagen seems to be soluble telo-collagen.
Every product consists of a bottle including 100 mg of collagen solution equipped with a bottle of pre-formulated neutralizing solution for the development of a collagen gel. This collagen product has been offered in easy-to-use packaging for use and storage. This product is sterile-filtered and is supplied as a user-friendly solution.
This product is perfect for coating surfaces, offering the generation of thin layers for culturing cells, or using as a solid gel. RatCol® collagen is appropriate for applications with the help of a range of cell lines such as fibroblasts, hepatocytes, and epithelial cells.
